I'm looking to upgrade to a S4 front bumper on my B5 A4. What's a good price to pay for a used S4 bumper?

 

Well a brand new one is around $550.

I think it's around $1000 at the dealer. But they mark up their parts by around 300%.

 

I just called my local (buffalo)audi dealership and they want $716.50 unpainted of coarse and the one in rochester wants $840.04 WTF

 

I could never justify that.

 

Anybody on the board wholesale OEM audi parts?

They have great prices on OEM Audi parts from my experience and they aren't too far from me either.

Shipping would be extra if you aren't in the SF Bay area and you'd also have to buy the grills as well.

 

you can also check in wreck yards for an s4 and find out if the bumper is still in good shape.

 

600 is the best price I've heard from a dealer, too bad I'm in NY and shipping will cost 150.

I've tried looking in my local junk yards and Audi dismantlers (local meaning the entire North East) it's really hard to get a used one in good shape, most wrecks involve front end damage and if it's not wrecked the local guys get first dibs.

But anyway, I found a place that has one, but they want 850 for it, no pictures yet and they haven't disclosed the condition, so I'm trying to get a feeler on how much it should cost before I drive the 500 miles to see this thing.
