I realize I'm in the wrong forum...but are the pipes the same for a B6 install? Going the custom/ebay route but haven't decided if I want to buy the ebay pipe kit, custom pick pieces from a place online, or try to have my local muffler shot cut/bend pieces for me?

your best bet is to find out what bends you need and get a custom kit the first time you do it, i wish i woulda just done that. i would not reccomend the local shop doing it unless you know someone working there and know they can we aluminum. not sure if its the same kit as the b5, but im sure its close.

its a little bit different. the best way would be to remove your front bumper and map out where the pipes will be going. its going from the turbo outlet, around the radiator, to the throttle body. you just gotta figure out the bends to get it around everything.
