8000k are no where close to purple. they still have great output but with a slight blue tint. i definitely wouldn't go any higher but my headlights are bright enough and the 8000k look better

 

so from the people getting their different k ratings do we have anyone that has pics of the 4300 , 6000, 8000 , or 10000k? their pictures just have a bluer tint on the images that are supposed to display the colors?

I just would like to know everyones opinions on their colors as the actual colors can vary between companies and their ratings.

 

ROFL shhhh.... the word has gotten out to them. I've seen a few with HID's. What a disgrace.

Chaos has gotten ripped on a couple times for having 8000k's but I've seen em myself and I like. Probly what I'm gonna get. Does the amount they burn affect their durability?

8000k is not ricer, 10-12 i could see.. my 8000k kit is nowhere near purple, they look more like 6000k's

 

I love my 8000ks, not purple at all. Had them on for 6 months with no problems.
Got them from Ebay (flashplus). took about 2 weeks to get here, but much worth it.
no they don't have a warrenty, but even if something goes wrong and you have to buy another set , it is still cheaper than any other kits.

until you tint those taillights and remove the chrome you cant call anything rice[8D]

Touche! Yes, I have clear taillights. BUT NOT FOR LONG.

I'm planning on sanding down *all* the chrome and repainting it silver, then tinting the lights very slightly, so it doesn't look as flashy.


Also, to keep things relevent, I just installed my 6000K HID kit from VVME today. I thoroughly enjoy them; I cannot attest to how great they are in comparison to other kits, but mine arrived without damage (after three weeks, I should mention), but they work fine, they were easy to install, and they look very nice.

 

HAHA... This is interesting how things switched... first I was getting flamed for the tail lights and now Leifer is.

Post a pic up of your car also leifer... I want to see it. Oh and my boss got after me today for messaging you on how to install the HID kit while I was at work. LOL
