Default I think my DV might be having an identity crisis

My car started making a blowoff valve sounding noise every time I get off the throttle awhile back. I haven't done a boost leak check, but my boost gauge is reading normal vacuum and boost is right where it should be too, nothing abnormal other than that obnoxious fluttering sound. I've got a hunch it might mean I'm in the market for a new diverter valve but I honestly have no idea. Any thoughts?

Take a look at the recirc hose off the DV that dumps the surge back into the intake plumbing.

if it is making a "fluttering" sound, that means boost is going into your turbo, which means your dv is shottttt

DVs at the dealer are 89

Fluttering under boost or after you let off the throttle? Sounds like a bad DV spring

out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried out, or currently have, the Forge Splitter blowoff/DV ?

anyone know if its any good? seems to be a few bucks more then the regular forge DV but it splits to give you the blow off valve sound, while still recirculating the air.

wait nvm i just sen a post with someone having problems with one... anyone have GOOD luck with them?
