IAT sensor bad, where the @#$#@$ is it???
1997 2.8
I searched and found "its on your throttle body" or "its on the intake manifold after your throttle body", so I pulled my intake off and looked and looked but couldnt find ****! Where the hell is this thing! Is it underneath? Do I have to take the throttle body off? wtf.

Well thats the Idle control valve, not the IAT. In his other tech articles he points out the IAT on the back of the intake tube, but where his is, I have nothing.
It's tucked behind the throttle body, you need to loosen a screw from the throttle body to get to it.
Edit: By Nate's pic/definition (which was very precise
) I might have the wrong part.

I have a code for the bank 1 O2 sensor. Also an abs code for rough road/engine torque. I was told the abs was from a bad IAT sesnor. I figured the O2 code was also a result of a bad IAT.
If the 12v doesnt have an IAT, that would explain a lot.
