if i cut off the cat will it hurt the car because i got a new magnaflow muffler and im just gunna bend and put new 2.5 inch pipe from the cat to the muffler is that i good idea or does somone have a better one please help me

No you willl be fine but dont just bend a pipe. you should get a downpipe or a test pipe with flanges and o2 senor ports. then you wont get a cel. just look up downpipe of test pipe.

The cat isnt a restriction, the diam piping going into and out of it is. Just have it cut and new 2.5-3" pipe welded back in and you will see a huge improvement in flow
