Any forged aluminum wheel will be stonger than cast aluminum, but unless the wheels are going to be under extreme loads (hitting big potholes at high speed, etc...) cast should be ok in most cases. There are some aluminum castingcompanies (cough China...)that don't have good quality control. Casting is a difficult process, and it isnot uncommonto get a defective cast aluminum wheel that will fail under low stress impacts.
