That black cloth like material has been there since I bought the car. I want to get rid of it, I have no idea why it's there, but it shouldn't be. Anybody know why it's there?

Ha actually its supposed to be there. It is to help reduce rattling an noise of such coming from those vents. One of my not so bright friends pulled it out and I can def notice more noise coming from that area. It bothered me too but I blast the tunes so I don't really hear it.

Use a plastic card (credit card, drivers license) and push it in. It should be good to go.

Alright, I pushed it in, but I want it back out. It bunched up too much back there and now it's just barely bending the plastic, which is annoying me. Anyway to remove the vents?

I'm trying to pull it back out to trim it but I pushed it so far in and it's nearly impossible to get out! Maybe I'll try tomorrow when it isn't 20 degrees outside. Or maybe I'll try again and just turn my heat on. HA.

Hahaha that's what I would do if I went back out there. I hate when I do something stupid like this, I know I'll fix it, but I want to now. Ha.
