So for the past 4 weeks an "INSPEC" light has been turning on in my 1998 audi a4 1.8t fwd. And I was wondering how to turn it off and also what it means because my mechanic doesn't know what it means? Thanks for the help.

 

To reset that light if I remember correctly, you push & hold the trip button, turn your key forward, and then pull on the clock adjust button for five seconds and it should clear.
