Thumbs up Installed Yellow Tint on Fog Lights

Spool of yellow tint i ordered came in the mail today, i got around to putting it on the fog lights. It was fairly simple procedure and used a hair dryer to aid in pushing it on and forming it around the lens.

I think it looks pretty good and even though i am going to be putting in 3000k hids, it made my stock fog lights more yellow / gold looking which i like also.

This probably cost less then a dollar to do, i got the yellow tint off ebay and it came in a 12" x 48" Spool for $9, so its something that i think is pretty cool and costs almost nothing to do.

Could you get a pic of just the fogs on a wall? Just curious how yellow it changes them. How's the quality of the ebay tint? Have you ever used the lamin-x?

Never used lamin-x, the quality to me of the tint looks very good, the a4 foglights are very round so it was a little more of a pain to apply especially around the edges. I know when i do my pathfinder fogs tomorrow those should be even easier cause they have a better shape to apply this sort of film.

I'll throw up a pic of the fogs on my garage door tomorrow for ya.

Won't the tint eventually get damaged from the heat of the Fog Lights Lense? The lenses get pretty hot after being on a long time.

^That is my concern as well. Let us know how you make out. Yes, that eBay tint is far cheaper, however, people are willing to pay extra for LaminX because it can stand up to that heat. But if it works, awesome. Keep us informed.
