Default Installing Rain-X Latitude Wipers on 2000 A4

Just purchased the Rain-X Latitude wipers, Spent 20 minutes in the freezing cold and could not figure this out, someone should explain this process for everyone. I searched for over an hour through this website and online but couldn't strike any luck on how to install..

(The rainx website tutorial video's were confusing and needless to say did not help.)

Well I believe I finally figured it out. My A4 was equipped with the large J-Hook arm (1/2"+) and required me to pop out the standard piece that the wiper came attached with and replace it with the "universal" adapter (Comes included in package.) It looks like a cursive m almost. Here is the Rain-X link even though I don't believe it was very good.

Bingo... I just did mine last week, and after about 10 minutes of freezing my *** off, I got in the warm car, read the directions, realized I had the LARGE J hook, and it was a piece of cake after that... best 38 bucks i've spent in awhile!

Are they really that good? I think the real question will be "how is their longevity"?

For that price, they had better last a long time. Almost every wiper blades, even the el-cheapo Anco, work fine at the beginning. It always comes down to how are they doing after 6 months.

I had then for 2 weeks before they **** out. I've had a $3 pair on for the last 6/7 months and work great...

Do they work well for you? I had these on my car and they never cleared off the window very well. The passenger side was always dirty.

get the cheap brand(15 bucks each), i forgot the name, guy at the part store said he used them so i got those. they're the same thing minus the RainX application, but you can buy a bottle and do that yourself.
or save 5 bucks by the rainX ones with the clear blade.(still 20+ bucks each)

the style of wiper is really nice tho. compared to old style of blades.
