So I just bought an A4 B5, I love it.

However, the turn signals didn't work. The guy told me it was the flasher switch, he already had it pulled out for me and found someone on craigslist with a switch. I tested the old one for *****, and then purchased the part.



The new switch allows the hazards to function... but the turn signals aren't doing anything. I took it back out... played with things and put it back in. No dice! Only hazards are working now.

I know the hazard switch going bad is a common problem so I did a bunch of research, but couldn't find anyone talking about a situation like this... where they replaced it and only the hazards were fixed. I found this:

and attempted to take both the switches apart, but they look nothing like the switch in the video.


Could it be a fuse or something? On the back of the switch is a little connector... does the connector itself have relays in it that I should of grabbed as well or something?
