The fan on my AC likes to quit on me for a minute or two at random times, for random reasons. I noticed it's most prone when I first start the car, especially if the car has previously been running, shut down, and started up again. The car knows it's doing it too, because the LED lights for fan speed will turn off, then come back on, and repeat until the fan kicks back on again...

Any ideas?

 

Had to read that a couple times, I thought you were talking about the auxiliary cooling fan. You're talking about the blower that pushes air out of the vents, correct? Could be your blower motor getting ready to crap out, or it could be the HVAC controls doing the same.

 

yeah, that's what i meant... i hope that's not the problem...

and please excuse my typing, i have one hand on an amazing samich i had to make myself because i'm currently woman-less.
