Default Ive recently installed a Cat delete pipe, now the turbo is overheating. We

I've purchased my 99 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro 2 years ago and quickly fell in love with it. Ive been fixing it up to bring it back to life cause the previous owner had miscared for it. Now it's completely stock and works perfectly. Finally got the money to tune it up and installed a catalytic converter delete pipe, test drove it just up the street with a heavy foot, and now the turbo glows red and gets hot. I let the engine idle for 7 minutes until I shut it off so it would not cool to quick and crack. Not sure what to do from here. Any good advice would be appreciated.

The stock k03 turbo glows quite easily after a few pulls which is perfectly normal. Wait till night and do hard pulls 1-3 and pop the hood, turbo and manifold should already be glowing a little after a few pulls.
