jet pump went bad

so i am in the military and i have been gone for awhile. So i am unable to fix my cars, so the wife has to take them to our mechanic when i am gone. So this is the deal. The car would spit and sputter and then die. Then it wouldn't start at all.
This is what they found from an email from the wife.
This is what they found diagnostically: 9 codes: evap emisson control sys LDP, malfunction/vacuum too low, bank 1 long term fuel trim sys. too lean, misfire in all four cylinders. i needed a new suction jet pump/ vacuum booster.
so the pump was 32 bucks and the whole thing came to around 200 to fix. So that being said i was unable to de-program the ecu so my upgraded ecu would go to stock and when it got done i would just put it back in with the laptop. But since i am away, it didn't happen so now the wifey is back to 8psi. o-well she doesn't care too much. So i think it is like 50 bucks to get it reflashed at awe-tuning.
So just telling to codes i got and what was replace if to help anyone out with the same problems.
Also can someone tell me what the jet booster does. i have an idea but not 100%.
