Thats all that counts. I know a few people that paid $200 for a used VIS hood here in Socal. The VIS hoods dont have the greatest fit or quality, but if that doesn't matter to you its a pretty good deal for $250 vs buying a high end hood like the Fiber Images or Vorsteiner hood which cost around $800-$1200 brand new.

 

I don't know what you talking about... You prolly know more about that than me but I've looked around and askecd around and people say that VIS is good brand and quality hoods

 

It is an ok hood and fair quality when it comes to their Audi hoods. I have seen VIS hoods fade very quickly, crack and peal. Some people have even said that when they got it the hood did not fit anything like the stock hood. Believe me when it comes to CF you get what you pay for. Cheap CF parts tend to be made with lower grade CF material.

Here is a thread on AZ from people that actually owned a A4 VIS CF hood. Be prepared to hear bad news.
