eh A3 can be sketchy if you're picky about options. You can't get the 2.0T with quattro and a manual transmission

A3 doesn't even have quattro.

the first gen a3 had a 1.8t quattro(probably haldex like in the tt)
and the '10's have the 2.0t "quattro"(it is the haldex like in the tt

Not quattro! There's an A3 down the street from me and there's no quattro badges.

A3, 3.2 uses torsen, i believe. 2006.
