readiness is when you clear the cel and the ECU needs to relearn how the engine responds to the different throttle you give it.

Coool yea cuz after I erase my cel ma car iddles really rough and almost wants to die...

that would be your throttle body. just let put the key in and turn it but don't start the car. let the radio and the dash lights on come and just let the car sit for a minute. the throttle body will adapt itself and you should be good after that. or you can do a throttle adaptation on vag com, free version is fine. if this doesn't solve it and neither does driving it for about 50 miles, you have other problems

Back home in New Mexico we just have registrations. No inspections no smog nothing. Just take your title and your license in and your registered till time to renew. You have fun with your smog

I'm in Albuquerque NM and am starting to get nervous about passing emissions in august. I have no cat and unless clearing the code does it I'm gonna have to find a sketch emissions testing place and slip them a 20
