My keyless entry recently stopped working, so I figured it was the batteries in my key. I replaced the batteries, sinked the key to the car, and it worked. But then it stopped working, so I bought another set of batteries to see if it was a bad set of batteries or something else. Again, after replacing the batteries and sinking the key, it worked, but only for a few days and then it again stopped working. I brought this up with one of my coworkers who has a B5 S4 and he mentioned something about how the keyless entry control module in the car may be bad. Has anyone ever heard of this happening or has had this happen to them?
