Default let me know what you guys think???

I found this A4... its a 97 2.8 5 speed. 153k miles no problems timing belt and water pump just changed no codes (I saw for myself) it has H&R lowering coilovers all the way around, body kit, in dash DVD. Its cream leather with navy door panels. Its cherry, the only problem with it is the tear in the driver seat on the stitching. we haggled and got him down to $3,800... what do you guys think??? go or no go?

nice looking car

$3800 still seems a little steep to me, given age/mileage, 2.8...

not sure what you plan on doing with it. I wouldn't trust it as a daily driver, at least not until i had the opportunity to live with it for a little while and see what its unique issues are. trust me, as cherry as it may seem, I'd bet money that it is going to have "issues"

I plan on doing the basics just exhaust, cold air(maybe), and a short throw it will be a daily driver it will never see the track... I just dont know much about these cars yet i love the look and feel of them so i figured id ask the experts.

Nice lookin car! Ask about control arms and wheel bearings, might be able to talk him down a little more if you find squeaky suspension parts. Did you drive it? How does the clutch feel? Also FWIW, the rear bumper and side lower trim are all stock, just painted to match the body. The front bumper looks like a Reiger or Kerscher RS4-style. I'm diggin the black roof too. Did you run the VIN through Carfax?

Looks janky without the matching side skirts, and the rear bumper looks like its a different color. I'd tread cautiously.

Front end fitment looks off near the headlights. You sure it's on coilovers? Did they raise it for sale?
