My car has been chipped for a while now. I have just recently noticed a drop in accelleration. My hunch was that the stock DV was shot, which is typical after chipping. I was hoping that a new DV would restore the lost power.

No I don't have a boost gauge. I want one, but fitting that in the budget right now is a little tough.

My wife and I are debt free but the house, and we are gazelle intense on building our emergency fund. A boost gauge just isn't in the picture right now.

 

if you have a vag com you can monitor your boost from there.

But in all reality you can pick up a cheap boost gauge easily.

then you can mount it in a vent or get a podi. sup to you. The site sells pillars too. I'm getting a 3 tier pillar with boost / vac, wideband air / fuel, and oil pressure pretty soon here.

 

Where's a good place to get the vent mount?

 

make one. I have a center vent if your interested so you have a spare if you **** 1 up.
