How long is the life span of an 99 audi a4 quattro?? I just hit 150k miles, but runs GREAT still! I'm thinking about throwing some coilovers on it.. good idea or waist of money?

 

Go for it. The car will last if you take good care of it. My avant has 210k miles and runs great

 

There is no answer to "how long will it last" because you can keep it going for ever if you want to. Mine has done 260,000 miles and runs perfectly, and I'll keep it until I want a change, or some major expense would be needed to keep running it.

 

I've got 265,000 HARD miles on my 2001, with the original head gasket still on there. It's all about maintenance and proper care. Having said that, my 1.8T is starting to burn oil now. The valve seals are done for. Also, transmission synchros are shot. I'm not giving up, though. I'll repower it and keep driving it until it falls apart.
