Limp gimp shrim pimp
I was driving my car rater hard, and out of nowhere I could no longer hear the turbo spool up. I immediately thought to myself, dead turbo. Pulled everything off the turbo today, and the thing spins freely with very little to no shaft play. I plugged in my vagcom and found a whole lot of "SHORT TO GROUND" codes involving the turbo system. Anybody know what's up? Oh and when I started my car cold, i didn't hear the SAI pump spool up either. That was one of the short to ground codes too... Something is awry. Thanks in advance!
well, here i am answering my own question. fuse #34 was blown. it is the fuse for the ecu. put the car into limp. none of the extremities we working (o2, maf, n5, etc). that harness must have been punctured by a stud on the firewall during a shift which in turn caused the fuse to blow. thanks for looking!
