Default Lookin for some ideas

Been having some misfires issues and I was seeing if anyone has any ideas. I've replaced and done the following:
Spark Plugs gapped at .032
New recalled coil packs
MAF with about 10k on it so far
New Fuel Filter
Seafoam treatment in Vac and crank case

It happens randomly while I'm driving or sometimes when I'm just revving it. It will misfire, then after about 20-30 seconds it will stop. I get p0300 (random misfire) everytime and then random piston misfire codes. I don't have any other check engine lights other than the 02 code for my testpipe but I clear them everytime they come up. Anything else it could be or that I should try???
I don't know know if this is related, but I replaced my cam chain tensioner a little while back and have determined that I have a tap and its lifter knock. It will go and come, but it definetly gets worse when the car misfires and the longer I let the car idle, the more it goes away...

i think it might be the timing that's slightly off. the ECU will usually advance the timing as you go up the RPM. the CCT might be off a notch and causing all these problems

Not eactly true. Timing is usually the highest at idle since there is no loadis under vaccum. On a turbo car the timing will get pulled back as the rpms go up till you reach peak tq, from there the ecu will start to increase timing.

OP - Have you checked the compression yet? You might want to pull the valve cover off and make sure the cam chaing is correctly set.

I'm just grasping at straws here, but knowing how many posts you've made about this problem its time to start thinking out of the box lol. Have you tried experimenting with the plug gap?

they are the recalled new coil packs. when i did the tensioner, i counted counted counted and recounted 16 so I dont believe its off that. I havent done a compression test yet...thats the next thing.
