RE: looking 4 a good exhaust
I would find a good exhaust shop and have them design one for you. Bring them the mufflers or whatever you had in mind and let them do all the work. You will spend just as much as a kit but it might be a little more personal to you tastes.. My two cents

If anything, use the 'search' on the tool bar. It will Probally help the most but ill throw in what i know.
I have a Magnaflow 14816 Muffler with a mid-muffler delete. It has a 'deep, throaty' tone and sounds far away from those 'ricer fart cans' we all hate so much.
2.5 inch pipe is what you want to use for our 2.8 application. 3 inch has been considerd to large and decreased back pressure so much that you actually lose bottom end tourqe. Even for a Supercharger application (witch i plan in the future)....2.5 inch is just right.
I had a buddy hood me up with a guy that does custom work. I purchased some 'S' pipes and he welded everything together. A good custom shop is a good idea. For what i did the Muffler / Pipes were $270 and the Labor was about $200 i think, and i basicly had from the 'Y' pipe replaced with high flow.
Magnaflow is the way to go in my opinion. Some other 2.8 guys have to same set up as this and they all approve as far as i know.
