Default looking for a4 1.8t 5-speed

I'm in NH. I'm looking to buy an audi a4 1.8t (not 2.8) 5-speed. Mainly because I want the good gas mileage but still the turbo for mods. I am looking to spend around $6-7k
I would prefer less than 120,000 miles, with timing belt and full service done.
tasteful mods are welcome.
I plan on chipping it, intake, maybe k04, etc. mostly mods I can do myself, labor gets expensive.
best places to buy these upgrades, what to expect for prices?
Thanks

Take a look in the classifieds section of the site; there should be quite a selection. I'm selling my own B5 1.8TQ 5 spd. for $6300. Here's the link to pics: http://s276.photobucket.com/albums/kk35/andreigbs/ Ignore the mugshot, that was for the cars & faces thread. All major and minor services are up to date, along with lots of repairs and new parts. In general, you can't really find a perfect car at the perfect price but if you're diligent, you may get close. Happy B5 hunting.

I'm selling my 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro as well and I am located in Maine. It's Silver with a great charcoal interior. It has the sports package and heated seats.
I just had it in to my local Audi dealership for a new wheel bearing and they told me the car is one of the cleanest B5s they have seen.

It is all up to date as far as service goes. I am the second owner and the first owner owned a car dealership.
I just did all new breaks and passenger side wheel bearings. It has had the timing belt done fairly recently.

I do have some mods done to it but they have been on less than 10,000 miles. Some of these mods may or may not come with the car depending on if I get my asking price or not. It has a chipped ecu (93 oct), APR R1 DV, ARP intake, smoked tail and corner lights, painted lowers, and HIDs (8000k). I'm asking 6850 for it.
I will get some recent pictures up for you.
Feel free to ask me questions if you are interested.

Autotrader has a ton of them. Otherwise check under the "Audi Classifides" and click For Sale.

if your looking for good gas milage you really don't want a quattro. but if you want to go BT then the quattro is going to handle the power better... for me awd makes all the difference.

I average 23-25 MPG backroads/city and 30+ mpg on road trips with a chip and exhaust. I'd say the advantage of Quattro is WELL worth the slight extra weight and it handles far better under most conditions than a front trak.

Craig's list too... you'd be suprised what you can find on there. And IMO if you don't want quattro get a jetta. same as a FF a4 but much cheaper.
