Personally, i own a 2000 b5 1.8t with quattro, i love it. the pre-facelift models (early 99s and older) are nice, i personally like the updated look, but by no means wouldn't buy a pre-facelift.

Its seems that quattro is a clear choice based on everyones comments that must mean its some very impressive technology. Cool I thought The pre 99.5s were bad or something now I can expand my search options(its kind of hard finding the newer ones with quattro and a 5sp thats also a good deal).
