Smile Looking for Pics of a B5 specifically lowered 1.3"-1.5" inches.

Im about to invest in some H&R Touring CUp kit for my FWD 98 audi a4. it drops 1.3"-1.5" and i'd like to see a b5 lowered that height. seeing if its any different from a stock look. reason why im not going lower or getting coilovers is cus i prefer the comfortable ride over the looks. just want to see if the drop is even noticeable. thanks.

pics would be VERY HELPFUL

Edit: Im not lazy and have been looking everywhere online!!!!!!!!!!!

You answered your own problem. If you prefer comfort over looks and handling, stick with your stock suspension. The Eibach pro-kit lowers between 1.3 and 1.5 and shows a big difference, but the ride will be a lot stiffer and the car won't take the bumps as easy because they are still aggressive sport shocks.

It's really hard to tell in my sig, but my brother's B5 in the far one and that has between a 1.3-1.5 drop on it. It's hard to see the gap because he has really thick tires on this car.

Yes, the pro-kit sits some where between 1.3-1.5

Its actually true the fact that the ride quality will be less comfortable than stock.

I was in the same situation as you so I went with coilovers with dampening adjustable. In which that the rride quality can be adjusted to super soft.

well i know the ride is going to be somewhat changed and bumpier. but the situation im in is like this, my sister dropped her honda civic a while back. that **** was the shittiest driving experience i have experienced to date. i would of rather walked than use that ****. i could feel every little bump and dip in the road and even the lightest crack just made ur *** hurt. it felt like the bottom of ur seat was dragging against the floor cus my *** FELT every bump. not a fun experience.

that is what i would call a cheap import feel. now when it comes to my ride. from what i understand, the more drop you put into it, the lower your center of gravity thus you will feel things bumpier. but with a 1.3"-1.5" drop, wouldn't that be less aggressive of a driving-feel than a slammed ride. thats pretty much all i want. i just don't want my audi to look like an audi but feel like a cheap import.

still have some question though, would a h&r touring kit/sport kit be what im looking for? heard an s4 suspension won't work for a FWD. plus would springs alone do the job? should i just get h&r sport springs or the h&r sport cup kit?

yeah i was thinking about doing that instead but you think coilovers are worth it for 1.3"???
