how do you "lose" your belly pan? seems to me like you'd have noticed when you ran it over and watched it floppin around on the road in your rearview

Dont feel bad, there is probably more non-pan people now than those with. If you plan on lowering the car, you may want to find a replacement

I would find a replacement even if you aren't gonna lower your car. I drove with out my bellypan for a bit because it was a hassle to take on and off when ever I was under the car, but it also cost me an oil pan. So I think they have some merit to them and am putting mine back on for the winter.

I got my brother's down to a 10mm nut in the front and plastic screw in the rear. It now only takes about 30sec to remove and reinstall it now. So much better than all the fasteners on it. My TT didnt have one when i bought it and im still worried about my pan. I think im just going to make a sheild for it since i cant find a replacement and the only aftermarket is a giant sheet of metal

oh i noticed when it was flopping around on the road, don't mean lose as in can't find, mean it as in it is no longer around...

its good to hear that i don't necessarily need it because i don't have the money at this point, due to my TB change today... so thanks for that

ive been driving for two winters without one now, the car didnt come with one. no problems yet.

someone should make up a carbon fiber skid plate with some solid mount points and maybe some metal reinforcing strips and quick connectors for ease of removal.

a CF version would cost way more than anyone would be willing to pay (even fiberglassed reinforced). An aluminum sheet would be more cost effective and would be a better alternative to the plastic.

Wow, I am surprised so many drive without. Here in Michigan, I would worry about snow packing in around the engine compartment. We have had quite bit of snow lately and I feel like I have the car with the least amount of ground clearance. Always hearing it rub on the bottom somewhere as I drive. Never get stuck though!
