Default Lost and need help.

Hi guys, I have a problem that I can not figure out. I own a 2000 Audi A4 Quattro. When I scan for codes it gives me one about the MANUFACTURER CONTROL FUEL METERING or something like that. Do any of you know what this might be and how I could fix it? Much would be appreciated if you could help. Thanks.

well, the particular engine you have and the particular code # would be highly relevant and quite helpful

the code is long term fuel trim too lean, bank 1. Check for vacuum leaks, check MAF sensor condition, primary o2 sensor condition, and PCV system

^Beat me too it

That's a long term fuel trim issue, start by doing a vacuum/boost leak test
