Default Lowering my A4

Hey, i have a 2001 A4 1.8T quatrro. I run 18" RS4 reps in the summer time but my car looks like a truck. What type of springs should i get that would lower me about 1.5". Im a highschool student so coast is importnat to me, i want a good product that is affordable. Also do i need shocks or struts to finish off the lowering? Becuase what ever the stock ones are just won't cut it with aftermarket springs, past experience have showed me you need both. Any info or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

What about Eibach products? I have several friends ( not audi owners) who sware by them as a great product. I was thinking Eibach Pro-Kit and bilstein shocks, what do you think? I'm tryin to save the money.

unless you have the sport model, then you can put lowering springs on your struts. the Sport model struts can take about a 1.5" drop max. other than that u would need either coilovers or new struts

You should consider V-MAXX coilovers. They are only $600 new and go super low. At least one guy is selling his on vortex for cheap. Or just get any used set of coilovers. You'll still have 4x4 status with springs

If the body of the shocks are red, then they are sport. I have seen H&R springs for as low at $200 at this site
