lowering my audi A4
Man i thank u very much. you've been very helpful. But i do have another question. People on the forum are talking about BOV, DV, SSQV and saying that BOV are not good for the car because audi cars use closed loops unlike asian cars and so on. On the other hand, some people have them so i'm confused. which one is better for the car? Also, which one gives it the loudest noise? I like to hear the rush of air and the psshhh sound when i change gears. So what do u suggest? Thanks..
BOV's (blow of valves) will give the loudest noise and you can run them just fine, you just need to make sure it is one of the BOVs that are closed at idle I believe.
DVs (diverter valves) are what come stock on our car
the SSQV is a type of BOV made by HKS I think (I'm not a turbo guy) and I think that this one or the Forge 004 will work with Audi's just fine and have a vent to air option which creates the PSHHHHH sounds everyone wants.
