Default Lowering Springs

Im thinking of grabbing myself some lowering springs as i cant afford coilovers for now Would i be able to use the stock struts with the lowering springs or would my ride be terrible? Also, what is a good drop for a daily driven car? I need to be able to go over speed bumps without scraping

+1^

I'll humor you with the ride height question though, I wouldn't worry about getting low enough to hurt anything with lowering springs on stock struts, you'll only be a hair lower than the OEM sport suspension

Don't use the stock shocks with lowering springs because in a car as old as ours are, stock shocks are already going to be old and ready for replacement. Don't make the problem worse by lowering it. You're asking an old shock that wasn't very adequate to begin with to do the same amount of work over a shorter distance, which it wasn't valved to do in the first place.

H&R Springs

This is what i'm looking at. You might like them. They dont lower a whole lot but they offer a great median between performance and comfort.

I'd recommend changing them even without lowering springs. Get quality shocks like Bilstein or Koni (or coilovers, but I don't know which brands are good for those).
