Made a disturbing discovery

Thats what I figured would happen but I gave them a call anyway. The guy basically said that he had never heard of this and their product is tested extensively and it wasn't their fault. I didn't feel like getting into a big argument since there is no way to prove that it was the bar.

Did the guy who installed it tighten it while the car was on the ground - suspension loaded?

I installed it and I did it while the car was on the ground, not jacked up. It's been in there for over 2 years.

This won't matter with a sway bar. The bar is designed to flex and rotate in the bushings and the endlinks would give way before the subframe would if it was stuck. It's not like a strut tower brace, which requires a pre-load. Sway bars move and twist.

sorry to hear man...i know how it feels to put so much money in the car and find out new problems. either you fix the problem, as you also make upgrades to new parts and go to the grave with it, or take your losses now and get rid of it.
