Does anybody have a wiring diagram to the MAF? Also anybody know how many wires are running into the housing?

 

Whats the problem?

 

I got the code p0102 MAF short, i went to re wire it and some dumb *** before me rewired it and had 4 wires plugged into it and there was a 5th black wire that wasn't connected to anything

 

Sounds like the problem is with the maf/maf wiring for sure. A picture would still be nice. I'd help you with a diagram but for some reason elsawin has vanished from my comp. Hopefuly the previous owner didn't try to splice in an older 4 wire maf from an AEB engine or some crap.

 

well on the housing that plugs into the MAF the 5th hole is plugged. but i am still wondering where that 5th black wire came from,

 

Some kind of ground wire?

 

Do you have an mbc?
