Default Magnaflow Exhaust system wayy too loud. Need advice on what to change :)

Hey,
My car had the whole exhaust change from front-to-back not too long ago.
It was replaced with a Magnaflow Resonator and Muffler.

I find the sound to be way too loud and deep, especially between 1000 and 3000 rpm (Also, you know it's too loud when your almost sweating next to a police car and shifting at ... 1500 rpms with the cops still starring at you).

Now, since i'm on a budget, and I can't get the whole system replaced again.
I need to know which one would be Best to have the Most "Stock" Sound as possible.

Should I replace the Resonator, Muffler or can i add another resonator?
My goal is to have Stock Sound As Possible..

Any help and guidance would be appreciated

Is this car awd or fwd? Yr? Engine? You'd want to replace the muffler. Another resonater probably wouldn't fit, and if it did- may create too much backpressure, and would add a ton of unecessary weight.

If you want stock parts, it's not going to be cheap... Like $300+ from ebay +shipping for stock resonator+muffler. Around $150 for just the muffler that may or may not match up to the aftermarket/magnaflow piping. If I were you, I'd just go to autozone or wherever and get a universal/oem equivilant muffler and have a shop fit it.

Oh **** dude you're like 5 mins from my house haha. As far as I know this is the stock exhaust, I'll go take a look now to see what kind of shape it is in. You busy today?
