Default Manual seats to powered heated

I remember reading back from another post about someone swapping some S4 seats into their A4. In the thread someone said that the electrical connections for the heated and automatic seats are still there even if you do not have the winter package is this true? If these wires are there how hard would it be to make a switch? Also are the tracks different between the manual and auto seats or are they attached to the seat? is a mechanism required? im going to take them out this weekend and look but just want to know if anyone has any insight or has done something like this before I buy them or even start this project

did this to my car the wire for the heated seat was there cuz i had heated manual seats but the power for the power seat was not there the front of the seat is what is different you have to cut that mount of the center of the floor and put in nutserts in the holes that are there for the power seat tracks the holes are there but there nothing to bolt to it is very simple just make sure you have every thing you need before you cut the mount out another thing to look for is to make sure that the plugs for the airbags are the same if you have them.
