Default Maybe once in a lifetime chance lol

I have the chance to trade my b5 a4 99' for a b5 s4 00'

My car is a 1.8tqms with springs and shocks 155k full redone kicker audio and its the volcanic black mica with the checker grey/black interior. fmic chip intake full exhaust and wheels.

S4 silver 183k milltech exhaust stock wheels bilsteins. Check engine light due to o2 sensors. turbos head and timing belt already done

BUTTTTT HE'S IN NEWYORK AND IM IN ATLANTA!

S4 has the potential to cost lots to repair. It's good that all of the major maintenance items were done, but if something comes up chances are good that the engine would need to be pulled. Is that a risk you can afford? (time-wise and financially) That's the main reason why I'd never get a S4.

I'd keep what you have. More reliable and it has potential.

The S4 just sounds like a complete money pit. Especially with the said problems.

x2

On a side note though, now owning a 99.5 volcano black just like you id give it up for a s4 any day. The 1.8t has potential, but the s4 has POTENTIAL! If you can turn a wrench the cost of ownership will drop though.
Only thing that would raise flags for me is why is he willing to part with his s4 for an a4?

^ Although you can turn wrench, if the S4 is the main source of transportation, it would be a hassle to have a car that would be down for a week and runs for several days before its down again.
