Default MBC installed now not boosting over 5psi

i instsalled my hallman MBC today with the information found on the forums, i removed the two hoses from the n75 and connected them to the mbc, leaving the electrical connection to the n75. now no matter how much i adjust it i will not boost over 5 psi. i am warming up and am going out in a second to make sure i didn't install it backwards, but any suggestions in the mean time would be helpful.
thank you

I remember reading a few months ago about someone that had the exact problem as you. I think they either connected it backwards or did not have the n75 hooked up right. I do aquick search to find the thread im talking about.

#1- I want to see pictures!!!

#2- I have a speedtuing chip, and with just my redular old N75 I am spiking at 19 and holding at 15/16....

#3- what were you spiking/holding before the mbc?

#4- I also have the VDO boost guage, so our #'s shouldn't be very far off....

interesting, good to hear that you figured it out!

I Was spiking at 17 and was holding 5-7, My spool time seems like a fraction of what it was

My MBC came with 2 springs, soft and firm, originally i thought the directions said the soft spring would allow for 5 extra psi, and i found out that it meant that it will only allow for 5psi so i switched for the firm spring. i plan on taking it up a little further because of the chip, i cants get lemmingwinks, unisource or any vag software to work on my Vista laptop. i would like to fine tune the fuel and timming. but it realy is a simple install the majority of the wort was getting the rusted hose clamps off
