Default Which MBC and setup?

For the interest of money, I am looking at the Voodoo MBC:
Voodoo III MBC Manual Turbo Boost Controller 0-30 PSI B-R Made in the USA | eBay
Is the one with the ball okay instead of a bleed style one?

I am running a k04 with giac j31 (high psi)

.. I am curious on which setup is more preferable for what I am going for... I am keeping my N75, but want to limit my max psi to 16-18, not 25 or whatever it is now.

Should I put this MBC in line from the N75 to the actuator, or in the parallel way where I just branch off of each hose as-is and put the controller in the middle (I dont see how this way works, but I see this most common)..

I have seen both way, and just need a way to keep the boost gains as is with the N75, but cap out at 18 or so.

Thanks!!

ball and spring is prefered over bleed type. as for which one to get, look for a used one if you can. otherwise just try to find a decent brand.

as for which way to hook up the n75 and mbc, try calling giac on that one. there is more than one way to skin a cat. or you can always loop the n75 to itself and just run the mbc. but again, give giac a call and see what they say. its their program
