Hey all i'm new to the site and just looking to get to know the scene and such. My new project is a '98 1.8t quattro. im just looking for ways to make her faster and more fun to drive.

I'm just curious what other people have done to their similar cars. any input is welcome and appreciated. Thanks! 420.

Welcome to AF!

I would start by reading the FAQ and the Newbie guide. In the FAQ, pay close attention to the bits about turbo upgrades and chip tuning. The long and the short of it is that if this car is your daily driver, you should start with maintenance first, then once the car is properly sorted out, start in with the performance type mods. I already typed out a monster of a reply in this thread, that should pretty much cover it.

Most people have details about their cars listed in their signatures, as I do. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask away!
