You should be fine just be careful when you pull them off. My recommendation is to get a length of thinnish utility wire, wrap it around the index finger of each hand a couple times, then drag it behind the badge like a saw; fishing line works as well and make sure to keep it tight to the body. You can use a heat gun to loosen up the tape to make it easier to cut, but it's up to you. The reason I recommend doing this is because the newer tape can damage the newer paint if you just pull it off. Either Goo Gone or 3M Adhesive and Tape Cleaner will work to remove the residue.

^Doin' it right.

Or I just posted it as a visual aide. I can see why you guys are mad though; Foci are far more reliable and far cheaper to fix than Audis.

Thats the way I did my other badges so thats good news. So I'll be fine using some rubbing compound on the fresh paint?

Yeah. The body shop used rubbing compound when they buffed your fresh paint. Then they went over it with finishing compound to get the buffing compound scratches out.

So my minds finally made up.

For the past couple months I've been looking into and debating turbos because I wanna go ahead and make that upgrade. I initially was set on getting the precision 5557 because people were making GREAT power from it and the price is very reasonable. Then when I started really looking into builds I saw all the small annoying issues people run into when going full BT and prices added up real quick having to buy this or that.
So I got back onto the frankenturbo bandwagon because I remembered just how cheap it was and people were seeing around 240whp with tunes such as motoza. But that only lasted for about half an hour because of people having trouble getting tunes and I know I would not be satisfied with the FT power

So I came back to the decision that an elim, either gtrs or gt3071r will be perfect for me. Still a very nice amount of horsepower, dont have to change up my setup too much and start worrying about wastegates downpipes fuel pumps and all those fun ($) items. I'm also trying to buy as much used as I can and make this a budget build, I'm in no rush since I dont have the car until April but would like to have most if not all my parts by then.

Thought I'd throw this out there, and if anyone see's any components or set ups for sale let me know!
