So this weekend i decided to go buck wild on my car first i started with my Podi gauge that came in this week




Also took the car to get the muffler delete and had a very nice tip installed for only 45.83 and let me say i love the way it sound's and also did the air box mod this today took me all morning tell me what you guy's think of the sound

Nice sound. so what exactly is it that you did to the exhaust?

 

I went to the local muffler shop and had them chop of the old muffler and had them weld me a pipe from where they cut it to the original place where my stock tip's used to be and had them put in a nice tip on it and there you go

and i have felt a difference performance wise the car now idle's better and acceleration is much responsive when cruising at 65 on the highway i used to do that at like 2800 or 2900 and now im cruising at 2300 to 2400 so i would say it Free's up the car a lot

 

oh so you had the twin pipes when it was stock right?

 

Yea i had the 2 tip's coming out the back

 

i like the exhaust note.

the only thing i disagree on is cruising at lower RPM at the same speed. there is no way in hell you decreased the the RPM in the same gear at the same speed without modding the tranny gears.

 

yeah I didnt quite get that either. wouldnt you need to adjust the gear ratios to do something like that?

did you get rid of the mid muffler(resonator) or is it still there



and how is the drone?

 

Cool, but yeah... No way your gearing was affected by taking your muffler out You were either cruising in 4th gear before, or you are crazy
