As the title reads my car misses under acceleration. No cels. but once im past that rpm range she runs fine. Ive replaced the plugs and the fuel filter, but the miss is still there. Im lost any help would be greatly appreciated. btw 98 2.8 qm Thanks. Jim

 

Try cleaning your MAF. Also, scan for codes as well - even though you don't have a CEL, there could still be codes stored.

 

thanks man > I just did that today. It seems to me that with having the k&n you have to clean yor maf alot more often. No biggie. Anyway you wouldnt happen to know proper spark plug gap for my car would you(98 2.8qm). Im running NGK copper v-powers.

 

0.030" (+/- 0.002")
