So I know and have read the constant annoyance of people asking about superchargers for the A4 2.8 12v... but would the VW kit work since they basically are the same engine?

 

im pretty sure the VW kit is for the VR6, which is a narrow staggered V6 where as the 2.8 is a normal V6. now if i am think ing correctly, you are talking bout the centrifugal supercharger, which mayyyy fir but i highly doubt it. and the tuning and everything wouldnt work

 

the audi v6 and the vw vr6 are entirely different motors. the supercharger would not work...but you could swap a vr6 into your audi if you want to [sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

just because its a 12v 2.8 dosent make it a vr6

Hey, if you're going to be doing an engine swap, why not go all out and do a custom twin-turbo W12? That would be the ultimate engine!

a single turbo vr6 is capable of over 1000hp tho. i couldn't even imagine double that lol

 

If you can put it in a GTI, you can put it in an A4! You just need a really big hammer and a lot of lube
