Default Mod Question

Is it possible to get that chrome trim that the 2.8's have around the windows and put it on a 1.8T? If possible where could i find it and has anyone done it before?

I'm sure it's possible. I would look for people that are parting out their cars...probably the cheapest way to get it.

if you can find a 2.8 in a junkyard than you would definitely be able to pull the trim on toss it on your car...

but I would assume that it would be extremely costly coming from a dealer...

and I have never seen a site that sells just the trim...

well, good luck!

Well if I ever finally get and RS4 grille, I'll give you my old one. How about that?

Its not easy to replace the trim. Or more specifically, its hard to get the trim off without destroying/damaging it. Not to mention you need to remove the rear windows from the car.
