Default MOT fail - Tie rod

I was just hoping to get a quick bit of advice - my A4 failed its MOT this morning. The MOT says:

"Tie bar/rod has excessive play in a pin/bush nearside front (rearmost arm)."

I have just taken the wheel off to have a look and I can see that the bush on the outer track rod doesn't look great. What's confusing me is the 'rearmost arm' part - it can't mean the inner tie rod can it, as this doesn't have a pin/bush... There isn't another track/tie rod is there?!

Anyone else had a similar fail and can confirm my suspicion before I replace it and go back for a retest? Don't want to look stupid if they were referring to a different part!

The probably do a hundred of those a day so my guess is they just typed the wrong thing. Or it was lost in the transfer of one person saying it to another to write down.

In any event, I'd get under there and take a look at ALL bushings and replace the one you said was bad, as well as any others. Then go back and you'll be fine.
