Ok i just looked at the under side of my car and notice the chase side of the mount has a big chip missing from it. Is ok to keep driving the car or should it be replaced? Are the 2.8l mounts and 1.8l mounts are they the same?

 

2.8 motor mounts are slightly stiffer then the 1.8t, the 2.8 and the S4 2.7 mounts are the same.

 

Not really what i was talking about, but that good to know. No the plate that bolts to the chassie is broke kinda. I just was wondering if the 2.8l chassie plates are the same as the 1.8t?
