I drove from Western Montana to North Texas recently - 1802 miles - and averaged 28.4. Definitely can't complain. BTW that blue color is beautiful.

That mileage sounds good for your speed, I think thats what I got around the same speed on a long trip. Maybe about 27-28. To answer your top speed question, North American models are limited to 130 mph (has to do with the speed rating of the tire from the factory, most American cars are limited to 110)., once you reach that speed it stops ignition to the engine momentarily. European (or chipped), dont have the limiter, Im not sure what the top speed is then.

Nice color too btw, I dont think Ive ever seen a blue like that color on an Audi before.

Fellows,
1rst: I'm not a cop but she will be!
2nd: "and at one point opened her up to 110 mph just to check it out"
That occurrence was very brief and on a smooth straight-shot of the 5 Freeway north of Sacramento.
I think like one member remarked, we have all been interested to see what our vehicles can do, if you know what i mean. Not irresponsible just curious... and then backed her down to modest speeds.
No citations either....
Didn't mean to spark any arguing guys.
Best,
Swankster aka Dad of Dominique

^^ don't feel like you have to answer for yourself when it comes to negative nancy's like Euro tuner. I'm glad you like it! Now its time to try out some windy roads! And just to spite him, might as well do it at an unsafe speed right?

Try it sometime in a better balanced car I love the Quattro my A4 has, but the car has really poor weight distribution and is quite heavy. It's not an ideal car for handling.
