Default My $55 OEM Sport Muffler from ECS....

She looks pretty. I was told there was a dent on the canister:

I can deal with that

This however was never mentioned on own phone conversation, oh well....$55 bucks meh.....

Oh yeah and the last thing that caught my eye:

What's this....I have one regular hangar and what appears to be....

Yup that's a screw welded in as a hangar. Like I said, I'm just pointing out how I got the thing, still not complaining about the price.

Overall, the outlet pipe and tips will definitely have to be cut down, which is good because it's an easy reason to fix the existing dent. I'll have an update as soon as I'm able to mount it which won't be until the day after Christmas.

Yes I failed at taking a photo of the whole muffler, I know *facepalm*

I'll upload one as soon as I can.

Looks a little worse than "superficial" like they told you, but you will be able to get rid of the dent on the outlet pipe when it gets shortened. I thought (from the pictures on ecs) that the 2.8 muffler came with an extra little bracket to go with that mounting bolt.... like it is actually supposed to be that way, bolted in. Shipping was pretty quick! I want to see this thing installed!

Phil they are out of Ohio, and I am in NJ which is probably why UPS ground was sooo quick. Unlike everything that seems to have to ship from Cali, where you would benefit more than I!

They definitely should have shipped it by now....that I agree with you on. I'm stuck late at work so once I get home I'll post up the pic. I love how they angle the muffler in the photo on their website, the outlet pipes are stupid long.......can't believe there is that much difference from 96-97 and FWD from quattro. Nothing a little modifications can't overcome.

If it still doesn't work **** it.......I've lost more money at bars and strip clubs to complain about $55.

they are probably the right length for you, like I stated earlier though, I have a dent to remove, even though I already thought I would have to cut it down anyways.....

I hate having to wait a week to try the install, but it's cold as **** up here and I have no garage (apartment living sucks).

Best of luck for you and your muffler, you should post up pics as well when you get it and install it.
